About the Lecturer
Professor Moye is an international lawyer who lectures and teaches in commercial banking and business organization law throughout the United States. He is a founder of the Moye White law firm where he practices business law and among other work drafts agreements, negotiates purchase and sale arrangements, and provides representation under the Uniform Commercial Code for clients involved in secured transactions, purchase and sale of tangible goods, investment securities, and negotiable instruments. He won the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award from both the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations during the 1980s and the Award of Merit, the highest award of the Colorado Bar Association in 2005, During his seven years teaching at the University of Denver, he was voted Professor of the Year on four occasions. His written work includes Commercial Transactions Under the Uniform Commercial Code Problem Series, The Law of Business Organizations, and Moye's Loan Documentation Manual. He is a graduate of Cornell Law School.
